Using the hypertext:

The 'hypertext' uses traditional techniques. An outline of the hypertext commands is tabulated below.

Action required:
To display a reference:	Click on the appropriate red reference number.
To display a figures or table:	Click on the red hypertext link.
To find the meaning of an abbreviation:
To play a video:	Click on the appropriate link wherever a video is cited.
To 'Jump' to another section:	Click on the appropriate section in the index, or in the body of the text itself.
To print the contents of a page:	'Right click' your mouse-button and select the 'print' option.
To go to the previous page in a sequence:
To go to the next page in a sequence:
To retrace your path:	Use the 'Back' button of your browser

Notes on the current version:

This web version of the guide to pulmonary artery catheterisation is still under development. The textual content and basic referencing is largely complete. However it should be noted that:

1. It is best with Internet Explorer version 4 or greater.

2. Some of the links to figures and sections are still being implemented.

3. The web-versions of the videos require the 'Windows Media Player' (v7) to be installed on your computer. If you do not have the media player 'Windows' and 'Mac' versions are available as free downloads from the Microsoft media download site.

4. Only about 50% of the live links to abstracts have been connected.

5. The java computer models have not yet been written.

6. Many of the images remain unlabelled and 'static' rather than 'dynamic'.
