Needle Tip Designs
Features of note are:
1. The presence of a cutting tip on the Quincke type needle.
2. The dimensions of the terminal hole.
- A large hole contributes to a rapid flashback.
- A long hole increases the possibility of injecting part of the intended sub-arachnoid dose into the epidural space.
